save money on days out with your children by volunteering as a family for good causes. We have made lot’s of new friends, have a fun time together while raising funds for charity.I think it helps children to realise there are always people worse off than we are.I get by on on a small wage and often feel guilty and upset that i can’t afford the fancy days out or treats that my son’s friends parents can afford. My children are happy that they have made new friends.
